TalkIn’ Serbian is a podcast created for foreigners who want to learn Serbian in a fun way and connect with the real language that they’re going to use in their day-to-day activities. Since the podcast creators use modern mediums for teaching, the visual identity needed to reflect the modern and fun character of the brand, but also stay clean, legible, and easy on the eyes. This approach ensures that viewers can focus on the audio and text without feeling visually overwhelmed.

The logo mark combines a podcast microphone with a speech bubble, emphasizing the goal of using podcasts to help people speak Serbian. Legibility was a priority for the typography, using standard Latin alphabet characters rather than stylized versions. The dot on the letter “i” and the apostrophe are highlighted in blue and red, representing the colors of the Serbian flag.

The pattern is a stylish blend of traditional Serbian rhombus designs commonly found in rugs and clothing, combined with the look of a sound wave equalizer. The dots from the pattern were also used individually as graphic elements for creating icons and other graphics.

This visual identity was subsequently applied to web communications for social media, as well as to the TalkIn’ Serbian website, ensuring a cohesive visual representation for the brand across various mediums.
